Stage Precision
Low-code glue for AVLM — camera, performer, and object tracking routed to consoles, media servers, and Unreal.
What it is
Stage Precision (SP / SP Grid) is a German-developed integration platform that sits between position sources and everything that consumes them. It ingests camera, performer, and object tracking from multiple systems, applies logic and transforms in a low-code environment, and routes the result to lighting consoles, media servers, DMX/ACN infrastructure, and real-time engines like Unreal — which is why it shows up on broadcast and virtual-production adjacent work as much as live entertainment.
How we work with it
We design tracking stacks around SP when the consumer list runs past lighting: multi-source ingest, coordinate-space alignment between departments, and the routing logic that lands the same number on every screen. It's the platform we reach for when a show's tracking has to serve lighting, video, and a real-time engine simultaneously.

Right when
- Tracking data has multiple consumers — console, media server, real-time engine — that need one coherent source.
- The integration needs custom logic between source and consumer, not just protocol conversion.
- The production sits near broadcast or virtual-production workflows.
Look elsewhere when
- The chain is single-source to single-console — direct-to-desk integration is simpler and cheaper.
- The job is purely automation-to-lighting translation — TAIT LightStrike is purpose-built for exactly that lane.
Stage Precision or TAIT LightStrike?
Both are translation platforms; they differ in center of gravity. LightStrike is purpose-built for automation data feeding lighting. SP is broader — multi-department routing with a low-code logic layer and real-time engine reach. Pick by who consumes the data, not by brand.
